Yeah in terms of presentation, those are pretty opposite of each other. LBP2 may look casual, but it's got more meat and substance than even the heavyweights of this generation, in terms of content and creativity. It's totally hardcore.
But if you're looking for immersive horror with a decent story, then by all means go for Dead Space 2. I really hope it lives up to the original. The feeling of fear and panic from the first game (especially the first level) is forever marked in my memory. I'm afraid that this second installment will just be too "cool" and focused on gory shock elements to produce any real sense of dread.
