Do I really have to explain this to you? I thought it was generally accepted by people that have 20/20 vision. Resident Evil 4, anything from Factor5, and the Metroid Prime series. Start by looking there.

Even StarFox Adventures had shader effects that no PS2 game could touch.

Yet most people with non deficient eyes agreed to say that God of War 2 managed to go head to head with early 360 games.

And no games on the Cube run in 1080i, like Gran Turismo 4 does.

So, again, while many games looked really good on the Cube, the PS2 had its fair amount of technical gems to rival those.  Take off your goggles already, seeing with 20/20 vision is good.

God of War 2 could only "compete" with the very WORST batch of launch 360 games, games that were ported from the PS2 era. Even then the 360 games had nice shader effects, better draw distances, higher poly counts,  bump mapping and normal mapping that the PS2 couldn't pull off in it's wildest dreams.

The GameCube could do many modern effects on a very limited scale. The same thing can't be said about the PS2.

Your attitude doesn't surprise me, for some reason people bought into the whole "Emotion Engine" "Toy Story Graphics" bullshit that Sony was feeding them. You had fanboys arguing that the PS2 was the most powerful system last gen, when it was clearly the weakest by quite a margin.
