Now nothing comes for free so im sure overhead was covered or aided by Sony since theyre benefiting fromt his as well......., but to imply Sony paid Valve to EXCLUDE Xbox Live in the way MSFT pays to EXCLUDE DLC from PS3 users is downright, urine inducing, milk coming out of the nose hilarous.

Don't you think Valve might actually benefit from console gamers getting the PC version as well? I don't think it's going to weaken Steam's position, instead it might actually strengthen it, ie. good for Valve. This could get more PS3 gamers to play on their PC as well, and PC is Valve's strong market.

I absolutely believe this strengthens Valve as well because not only does it encourage migration from PS3 to PC via Steam but it will also open up the doors for Steam via PSN, so lets say i can buy ME3 digitally on the PSN Steam store so i can play it on both my PS3 and PC....

Its just a good move to widen both bases, i think you misunderstood what i was saying.

I was responding to the fact another poster thinks Sony paid Valve to EXCLUDE 360 owners from this bonus when in reality its MSFT policy excluding these bonuses
