Wow, not only are Valve supporting the PS3, but in doing so they're making buying the PC version of the game pointless (if you own a PS3). Gabe Newell would be rolling in his grave if he were dead but since that's not the case he's probably rolling in Sony's money.

PC/MAC version should be $10 cheaper. And I doubt Sony is giving him any money.

Eh. You can always find new release console games $10 off at launch. I'm buying LittleBigPlanet 2 tomorrow for $83 AUD (RRP: $109 AUD)! With PC games it's harder because the big chains don't stock them and places like EB/Gamestop always charge full RRP. And you'll have to wait for the price to go down on Steam.

So really, there's no reason for me to even consider the PC version.

I'm getting LBP2 and Mass Effect 2 for $53 AU from importing.

haha and the retailers want to put GST on items bought over the internet; even so it still works out to be cheaper.

(I bought from playasia and used a $12 off coupon to reduce the price).

As a side note, I would NOT buy ps3 games from Aussie retailers as they are just overpriced in my opinion. I've also got dead space 2 on order for $48 AU...versus $89 from most Aussie shops.
