Ugh, Im surprised by the positive nature of this thread.  As a player of Everquest, Everquest II, and countless other MMOs.  I played the beta for this and left entirely disappointed by it.   I thought it was pretty mediocre actually.  I suppose it's a solid entry for console players but I would never consider playing this over World of Warcraft if I were a PC player.

I actually come from EQ, EQ II (though not much at all), FFXI, WoW, City of Villains, and FFXIV and I must say I love this game.  It's a completely different experience than all of those except City of Villains and it's refreshing.  It does play more like an action game but that's why it will succeed.  If it did what any other MMO did and try to be WoW, it would fail.

It's an action MMO that's of actual quality.  What is there to be negative about?

It's not without it's problems (PS3 and PC players can't play together, the chat functions are lacking) but it's a pretty strong game.

I suppose it could just be a personal comfort factor.  I enjoy Hack N Slash type of games,  I just don't feel like it meshes well in an MMO environment.  (Although in a console MMO environment,  I suppose you almost require that Hack N Slash attitude).

I didn't play it entirely long (Probably 45 minutes or so)  so just like any other MMO I definitely didn't give it a fair shake.  I just left disappointed in it?  Maybe it's the fact that they broke the formula?

Regardless,  good for them.  It seems like a lot of people are enjoying it thus far.  It will be interesting to see where it goes.   I've always enjoyed MMOs and if this gets more people into them, I'm all for it.
