Target taking over Zellers (Canada VS America)

 I'd imagine that Target will endeavor to keep their Canadian line of products, as it'd likely be a point of contention for Canadians if they did not. Who knows, maybe they'll bring Canadian products to America, thus benefiting your manufacturing more?

Now that would be cool if Target sold all the Canadian products Zellers does. But according to statements Target doesn't want people to think of them as a new Zellers they want to be completely unique. So much so that they aren't hanging on to the Zellers staff their starting from scratch.

It seems that many retailers these days in Canada don't sell Canadian products. All our vegetables and fruit say "California" on the package and stickers. The clothes and electronics say from China. At least in Zellers their was products that were made in Canada.

Now if Target started selling Canada made products in all its stores I would be very happy. But for some reason I think they would rather go with the cheaper Chinese and American products.
