Bravo , my man 1 mill to fix high end models stinks ,especially when theres no way to mantain them between races so it doesn't come to that 1 mill, thats why i love my stealth models even though i rarely use them ,sure they don't offer any more power or drivability than there counterparts but only 500cr on each part to fix them. starting the 24 hr today haven't decided what to use yet

I really would have loved to get the Stealth 787b. That would have made the maintenance of the car much, much easier to handle =(

Oh well, farmed a bit on the Dream Car Cup today, on B-Spec, and fixed the 787b back to it's original specifications, plus got enough Cr to buy one of the 20M Cr, grabbing the Penniless trophy on the way as well.

Got to say, the Mark IV Race Car handles like a charm. It's completely unlike any other Ford GT40, even the LM Spec II '04 car. I can really see why they dominated as they did back in '64 - '67.

how did you get the penniless trophy i tried ages ago but had a few dollars left over and no where to exactly spend it.

About the GT40 mark IV if i remember right it was the version used from 67-69, i sat in one once not a race version though, my uncle used to work for a trucking magnate( by the name of lindsay fox who owns linfox Australias second largest transport firm and owner of one of the worlds biggest private car collections)maintaining all his cars and every week he would trailer a car out to the race track and do the maintainence there and part of it was to run them on the track for a few laps, i used to help him on the school holidays my to fondest memories of that time was doing some laps with him in a then brand new ferrari F40 the other was when  the VP of ford Australia later Ford US arrived at the track

with Australias only GT40 at the time, sadly no longer as it went back to the US with him  he explained that it was a one of a kind as it wasn't a race car nor a normal street version but had most of its interior stripped to turn it into a 3/4 racer the  things that shocked me was its hight and it was also smaller than i imagined  the second thing was the doors didn't open gull wing style as i expected and how little room there was although i didn,t get to do a lap sitting in it ,he told me it would go from 0 to 100mph in first gear in the length of an average city block
