Zellers sucks. I've never seen a Target store, but i pretty sure its going to be an improvement for Canadians.

Target is pretty good. It is nothing like Wal-Mart, and has much higher quality for its products, and is considered more fashionable, despite having affordable prices.

Oh, and you will never find a 'People of Target' website with pictures of nasty rednecks. Target is known for attracting a far more....Attractive...Clientelle.

And enough with the retailer nationalism. The best store in the world is German - Aldis. Just because the HQ is in a different country doesn't mean it will hurt your nation. If the retailer is expanding, it means they are using smart business practices, and are less likely to go bankrupt, which will lead to more job security for those working there. Target is also known (far better than Walmart) for paying its employees better, too. I'd imagine that Target will endeavor to keep their Canadian line of products, as it'd likely be a point of contention for Canadians if they did not. Who knows, maybe they'll bring Canadian products to America, thus benefiting your manufacturing more?

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
