So which one of the two - Kinect or Move ought tobe a slow burner and which one frontloaded ? :p
one sold 8 million in a matter of weeks , the other shipped 4 million before december. To answer your question, the are both frontloaded.
Er, so you think. If (actually when) Kinect sells more when it goes $99, is it still frontloaded?
So what, it would have a short boost and will go back to selling as usual.
Like everything else in this industry bar Wii Fit. Kinect increasing YoY wouldn't mean it was frontloaded. Frontloaded means when something sells the bulk of it's lifetime sales in it's first 2 weeks.
So to answer his question according to you, neither Kinect or Move are frontloaded. They will both continue to sell, while Kinect will sell more, they will both have strong legs.
Can't speak for Move, I assume so, but Sony arnt putting 1/4th of their might behind Move like MS are Kinect. Sony saying it's a "leggy" product is just a cover for "it sold average at launch" anyone can see that.
MS is putting the majority of their might behind Kinect sir, while Sony is not on the move. I doubt we know the move numbers besides it bad software sales. i bought it and never bought a game for it yet.
