How is it remotely the same?

Keyboard and mouse vs gamepad.

And the fact you can attach any controller on a PC, including 360 (officially) and PS3 (unofficially) controllers.

20something inch monitor vs big screen TV.

Close up meaning you see far more detail.

Couch vs office chair.

Or laptop?

Stereo computer speakers vs surround sound.

Does everyone have surround sound on their TVs? This point is invalid for most people.

MOST people have a far better setup for their TV than their computer which is why consoles are more popular.  If the experience was the same AND you got better graphics then PC would be destroying consoles.  Why do I keep reading about how PC gaming is dying?

This has been said for ages, and guess what? it never happens. See pic below.

I also never said anything about dev tools, I know games are designed on PCs, but the development push is GENERALLY towards the console version.  That is how the controls are optimised. If you think it's all about list wars then that's your view, but I disgree.  Most people prefer to play on consoles.

How do you know this? Have you done a survey of the numbers of PC gamers? Have you seen the number of developers that produce PC games? It's far more than for all consoles combined. Only the richest of devs/publishers can afford to release for the consoles and even then they nearly always release a PC version.

30 million steam users vs 85 millions Wiis, 51 millions 360 and 46 million PS3s.  It's still no contest.

30 million active Steam accounts (and growing) is not representative of the entirety of PC gaming. It only represents a fraction of PC gamers. It would be like saying only people with Wii motion should be counted as Wii gamers, or that the 11 million WoW players are representative of all PC gamers. There are still a lot of other services (like GFWL, Battlenet, GOG etc.) on top of offline gamers, MMO players, etc.

You still failed in your argument.

"Killzone 3 might be played by more people with a DS 3, but we all know that the best way to play it is by a sharpshooter"

We all know that?  The game isn't even out yet.  Stop with the hyperbole.

Move is to PC version of console exclusives as a controller is the 360.  It's very consistent.

There seems to be a lot of misinformation in your post. Also, I'm not sure how your comparison relates in any way to Move and the PS3. The analogy makes no sense.

Oh, and:

http://www.tgdaily.com/games-and-entertainment-features/49818-epic-blames-piracy-for-the-decline-of-pc-gaming

"Epic boss Mike Capps believes rampant software piracy is to blame for the noticeable decline of PC gaming and the rise of the console as a lucrative platform."

So it's your opinion the majority of people prefer to game sitting at their computer?  I disagree.  Unless you're talking about Facebook games.
