Two spaces after sentences

Actually, Word doesn't correct 2 spaces, and I believe through Word 2003 (Word 2007 is no longer this way), it actually put a squiggly line if you only had one space after a period.

No it didn't. At least none of the versions of Word 2003 I've used. I always use a single space and I have never had Word correct that. It doesn't really bother me if I notice it unless I am for example correcting a friend's work, as I have a friend who does this all the time (it's not even consistent, usually she uses two, but on occasion she will add three and even four).
