SvennoJ said: The endurance events are not for me. I did the 60 lap one, then fell asleep during the 90 lap one at laguna seca. I literally jumped awake parked in the chicane. I was still ahead so kept going for a bit, then paused the game for a break. When I got back I must have hit the wrong button, since suddenly I was back at the start at 0/90. WTF why is there no confirmation dialog on restart race??? I'm running them in B-spec mode now to unlock the X1. Too bad it's not like GT4 where you can switch between A-spec and B-spec mode during the race and speed up the race during B-spec. I'll just play the good bits separate, driving at sunset and sunrise on nordschleife is awesome. |
That's why I always bought an underpowered car to those endurances, mainly because to avoid boredom.
The only race where that happened to me was on Tsukuba 9 hours endurance, mainly because it's such a low speed track and you have to do almost 600 laps in it.
Surprisingly, the same thing hasn't happened on Le Mans yet, probably because I love the track and driving around it in a class C race car forces you to be on the edge all the time, especially when driving it with a wheel with Force Feedback set to max XD.
I've yet to see the day-to-night transitions on the nurburgring, though I've already raced it on night. It makes the name "Green hell" have a whole new meaning xD.
