I like that Sony is making sure to honor it's original fans; however, I think that if they don't also concentrate heavily on family-oriented games, then they're simply making a huge (i.e. idiotic) mistake. The Wii, and now Kinect, have proven that there is a huge potential fanbase out there that likes casual/family games. Kinect has successfully advertised its ability to be a FAMILY experience, and this is why it's succeeding so much. The advertising got people buying it, then word of mouth kicked in.

Sony is on the right track with Sports Champions and Start the Party, but they need to make many, many more games like this that provide a fun family experience. I brought my Move to my Christmas get together, and my entire family had a blast with it playing "Sports Champions" and was dying of laughter playing "Start the Party". Now my grandma and my aunt - ppl who normally dislike video games - both want the PS Move. In my opinion, "Start the Party" is an ingenious idea for a family game, though I think it could use several improvements and more game modes. But if Sony can perfect the "Start the Party" formula in a sequel, and MARKET it well to show how truly fun it can be playing with friends and family, while releasing additional Sports Champions-like games and other fun family games, then I think they will start to sell a lot more Move bundles. Increasing attraction to the casual combined with increasing sales coming with each quality hardcore Move title will really make Move a success (imho). Oh, and Sony really does need to do some more marketing for Move. Idt there are many people out there that haven't heard of Kinect due to its insane advertising budget. I was recently home for only 2 weeks for Christmas break, and this conversation happened at least 2 or 3 times:

other person:  "motion controls blah blah, Kinect blah blah"

Me: "Well what do you think about the Playstation Move?"

other person: "Playstation Move?"

Come on Sony! People don't even know that this product you're trying to sell to them exists!

I think I may have gone off topic, so I'm just gonna stop.
