The next title in the 12 y/o franchise was announced under the codename "EverQuest Next" about a year ago, and it was hinted that it would be a PS3 title. That was litterally all we have heard of it. But what do you hope it will be?
1.) The next (fourth, second on a console) EverQuest MMO? (EQ, EQ2, EQ: Online Adventures)
2.) Could it finaly be the 3rd installment of the Champions of Norrath series that was a cult hit on the PS2 (Low Sales, Great reviews...but glitchy) the CoN series is alot like Diablo. (But better imho)
3) Sony has long stated that it would like to do an open world RPG much like the Elder Scrolls series using the world of EverQuest (Norrath, Luclin, the many dimensions)... Could this FINALLY be that title?...This could also be sony's answer to the XBOX exclusive "Codenamed: Kingdoms"
1.2.3.5) It will very likely bring the EQ Cardgame Legends of Norrath to the Console no matter the game type.
