MLA, which around here anyways, is very common in regards to standards for writing, indicates that while one space is becoming more common, practically speaking, there is nothing wrong with using two spaces.

Go read any article or book. It's always one space.

Did you even read the article I posted?  I'm not saying that articles or books ever have more than one space, and it has nothing to do with what is standard.  If 88% of the people in the world started doing meth, does that mean I should do meth as well?  I'm saying that using the writing standard that is common (In the schools I have attended anyways), it states that while it is becoming much more common to use one space, there is nothing wrong with using two spaces.
