Now that's true , these titles are very remarkable and have a huge fanbase on both sides , but what about the titles that aren't that huge , being exclusive creats some kind of hype / anticipating for the game and , most of the times , deliver a better experience , any new/not huge IP needs that. Marketing can't do miracles , If you like add 500K to Enslaved sales due to really good marketing campaign.. still too low and not anywhere near Heavenly sword ( which wasn't profitable for NT by the way ). So in other words, you're saying exclusivity can help new IPs compared to established ones like MGS, GTA, etc.
I'm not saying exclusivity is bad, it's just that most of the time multi-platform maximizes the profits which is why most third party companies these days are shooting for multi-platform releases.
