No plans to announce =/= No plans at all
Nintendo trademarked the game in the US and various European nations, they registered the domain (which redirects you to Nintendo's site) and even Perrin Fucking Kaplan knows what it is. It's pretty obviously coming, despite what some nameless PR monkey might say.
