Killed by a communist so crazy even the Soviet Union didn't want anything to do with him, i agree. In neither case is the violence directly attributable to hate-speech (it is to a point, but insanity is by nature unforeseeable in how it might be prompted to action), but in both cases they came in a time when such speech arrives to dominate political discourse. A reason to reflect, if poorly ascribed, is still a good thing. Fox News correspondents have apparently been told to tone it down, so there's a start
