And it is doubling also as a chance to take a shot at the right wing.  Tell you what, if this thread is going to degenerate into a finger-pointing exercise in regards to whether left or right wing folks are the bigger jerks, I think it should be locked.  I could go on and argue how one side or the other makes the most noise, and is more wrong, but what is to be gained?  If all sides act like jerks, how about I pick NONE of the above?

To be fair, this thread derailed pages ago with that (albeit interesting) discussion about the complex interrelation between far right and far left ideologies, and it's been a finger-pointing session from page one
