If this is true then it makes me realise that Nintendo handled their announcement a lot better. Nintendo announced their device before all the press heard about it and it became old news. It'll be harder now for Sony to develop excitement and hype from gaming media which has already heard most of what the PSP2 has to offer. They should have made their announcement at the end of last year.

Its practically tradition for Sony to do this. Don't you remember the PS3 slim and PSP go debacles.

And it is even worse when coming to SE as all their recent phones have been leaked AGES before announcement, the arc has been hanging out for about 3 months now, and their X10 mini successor has been sighted ahead of its probably announcement next month

Yeah, haha. I think Microsoft even managed to keep theirs a secret until just before E3. Which was quite shocking in itself, it preserved the maximum impact of their announcement. Actually pretty much every Sony E3 has been ruined by leaks. Maybe they should just bite the bullet and announce things before they get leaked. The wide public may not know, but the gatekeeper internet geeks won't be nearly as interested in passing on or discussing 'old news' with them.

I guess SE learnt from the best!

Tease.
