Famitsu up, HUGE discrepancies...

Famitsu hardware sales from 12/27 - 1/2:

DSi: 111,635

Wii: 97,117

PS3: 69,606

PSP: 69,068

PSP Go: 6,914

360: 5,151

DSL: 3,158

PS2: 2,532

Pokemon Black and White: 47,573 / 5,036,724

Other LTD as of 1/2:  NSMB: 6,033,334

...bear in mind Famitsu has the highest directing tracking coverage of any sales tracker worldwide (about 70%).

lol so DS and Wii did beat PSP and PS3 respectively.

Well Wii beat PS3 no matter how or which tracker you are looking at.

DS would've beat PSP by Famitsu numbers though, even if you alinged the years as MC did.  Wii also was ahead of PS3 al year according to Fami, PS3 never pulled ahead (same for Dengeki btw).

And actually, looking at LTDs, Famitsu has DS and Wii both ahead of MC (by 100k and 50k respectively), while MC has PS3 50k ahead of Fami and PSP a whopping 300k ahead!  Fami has PS2 ahead of MC though by 200k... seems Fami tracks the leaders higher, MC tracks the underdogs higher.  Except for 360, which is pretty much even (lol).

Dengeki numbers for the week should be interesting... they tend to track closer to Fami, but the Wii/PSP differences this week are so big, I really have to wonder who's more accurate?
