But you said downloadable titles didn't count.  You want to bring that up then we need to look at the PSP again.  or even the X360.

No, I did not say that. :)

But let's look at 360. You can play those downloadable games on any 360, if you buy a 5£ memory stick. Can you do the same on DS? No? That's what I thought.

But it requires the purchase of an external product.  And that still doesn't account for the PSP.

Bu-bu-but... you still can do that on 360. You can't do that on DS.

I don't know about psp go-only games, maybe you can name  some?

Actually, you can.  In Japan, the DS Camera accessory is used for the camera feature in those 3 retail DSi only titles.

As for PSP, you can look at it backwards.  PSP Go removes access to all UMD retail titles and is download only.  PSP 3000 has the added RAM to enable faster loading of UMD titles.  Not even the extra RAM in the DSi and DSi XL use the extra RAM for performance enhancements in retail games.

Point is you wish to separate the DS line into completely separate consoles while ignoring similar model situations among other consoles.  Go look at the Gameboy/Gameboy Color scenario for a few minutes.  Then come back to the DS.
