I use voice and data simultaneously ALL THE TIME. While that's not a deal-breaker for me, combine it with the good coverage I get with AT&T so Verizon doesn't have that advantage for me (but I acknowledge that their coverage is, by and large, superior to AT&T).

If Apple doesn't have an LTE phone ready to go with the iPhone 5 in August, they're making a HUGE mistake.

There is no way an LTE iPhoneis coming out this year. Verizon would be the only carrier with any real coverage for the phone as AT&T is a year behind them in rolling it out. AT&T would be stupid to ask/push Apple for this.

Now on the other hand, Apple is equally as stupid if they don't have an LTE phone come out as there will be a slew of Androids with dual cores out by June/July when iPhone's typically release.

However, looking at how Apple handled 3G, they may just wait for more carriers (in and out of US) to have LTE before they push it out, thus 2012.

Any word on a Droid 3? I really dont give a damn about the iPhone, I just want an LTE powered Droid. And my contract with Verizon will be up towards the end of the year.

I think this is probably the closest, it is the Atrix, the next Motorola flashship phone

Haha Munkeh, Verizon just got done announcing several LTE phones, and from what I've seen, I wouldn't touch that Motorola, here's some choices:

HTC Thunderbolt

LG Revolution

Samsung 4G LTE

And two LTE Motorola Phones, the ATRIX isn't the new flagship BTW,

And the new Motorola Flagship phone, the "Droid Bionic"

I'm stuck with a 2 year Contract since July with a Droid X, but I'm fine with that considering my Contract ends mid 2012 when LTE should be plenty spread out ^_^

The Bionic and Atrix are almost identically spec'd. However, the ATrix has far better accessories.

Hit up Motorola's website and search on them, the Atrix has this really awesome media dock and a far more impressive laptop docking shell. Makes your phone a laptop.

Forgot to differentiate in my last post and made the mistake insinuating that the ATRIX is on Verzion, when in fact it is AT&T exclusive. The Bionic is essentially the Verizon version of the ATRIX in a sense.
