2. Out of hte MANY years I've been using phones I have only had one time where I wanted the data/voice at same time feature. 3. The far larger footprint of Verizon's 3G easily out does the technically faster AT&T 3G. Consider each company has 100 blocks. AT&T has 10 blocks that are 100% rated and the rest are 30%. Verizon has 85 blocks that are rated 85% and 15 that are 30%. Its pretty clear which is the best option, unless you live and remain in the tiny 10 blocks of AT&T's 3G. Verizon >>> AT&T. |
I use voice and data simultaneously ALL THE TIME. While that's not a deal-breaker for me, combine it with the good coverage I get with AT&T in the Twin Cities so Verizon doesn't have that advantage for me (but I acknowledge that their coverage is, by and large, superior to AT&T).
If Apple doesn't have an LTE phone ready to go with the iPhone 5 in August, they're making a HUGE mistake.
In any case, I save about $200 by re-upping with AT&T instead of moving to Verizon and paying miscellaneous. This new Verizon iPhone doesn't offer enough to offset that.
