Just didn't have a publisher who know how to launch a new IP in the west - would have done alright with an EA, Activision, Sony etc backing it but Namco are useless. It's a shame as I think this could of actually done really well

Well there was this tv ad, they showed it here in the UK, not sure about anywhere else. and there was a demo, which i think wasnt that good, but still showed promise for the full game.

Tbh, even Sony dont market that well. probabily because their console has lost so much money, but still i think the tv as was really good, and showed off some of the games finer points.

I'm from the UK, might of seen the ad but it never made a lasting impression. It's odd as it's a game I like the concept of, enjoyed the demo but still haven't bought - will do eventually but I find it hard to enjoy a story driven game like this with the looming doubt that I'll ever see a sequel and be left ****ed by the inevitable cliffhanger at the end.

But yeah, there's alot more to it then just sticking an advert on TV - and whether or not you think Sony market well, you can't argue with LBP, Uncharted, Motorstorm, Resistance, InFamous, Heavy Rain etc all becoming new IP million sellers on the third place console.

Imo Namco just got the launch day wrong - should have taken the Janaury type date Darksiders took last year, Would face stiff competition on the PS3 but it'd pretty much have two weeks all to itself on the 360, it just got crushed by known IP's when it did launch.
