The over-moderation of this board is absolutely absurd at times.  I've been banned for very similar things in very ridiculous context.  Basically, if a MOD doesn't agree with your viewpoint and it butthurts him/her you'll end up with a moderation.

I hear this a lot, but I have 11x more posts then you and I have never had a problem making my viewpoint known

To some extent you fit in the 'group' around here.  You hardly if ever see a 'Mod' or any sort of friend on here get moderated.   Secondly,  I don't know what other accounts you have but it says you have 990 some posts?  I have around 1,000.

dsister's main account (he got rid of the 44 for some reason) has well over 10,000 posts. I still beat him though

Now, is it really so odd that mods are harsher on people with low post counts who have joined recently? Hell, if you do anything wrong on GAF in your first three months, you are banned permanently. Somebody with 10,000 posts (and few or no bans) has proved that they can post sensibly and express an opinion without trolling. Somebody with 500 hasn't.

I personally think that philosophy works perfect.  Without getting warned/banned in my early days, I probably would have never changed, and continued to provide virtually no benefits towards the vgchartz community.  By getting warned/banned, it came to my attention that my ways needed to change, and regardless of what others feel, I just have that feeling I am being much more beneficial to the community.  I personally think that permabans need to come sooner on this website as it seems some people still don't get the point.
