Microsoft has yet to advertise "core" games for Kinect.  But we have seen "core" games like Madworld and No More Heroes for the Wii and Resident Evil 5 for the PS3 Move along with the upcoming Killzone 3 and Dead Space 2.  Hey, with Kinect and a controller, why not have a Resident Evil Kinect version out sometime as well as a Kinect and controller enabled Dead Space 2?  It's very clear what a "camera" and "controller" combo can do.  We've... seen it already.  Just saying.

Yes, the PSEye is capable of body tracking, and how much it would be used I do not know.  But I'm sorry to inform you that both Killzone 3 and Dead Space 2 for the PS3 will not utilize body tracking at this moment.

Why not?  Seems like a perfect opportunity to.  Could it be because it's simply not capable of reliably doing all these things PS3 fans seem to keep saying it is?

The one game we have now that does head tracking with the PSEye is GT5 and by most accounts it is unreliable, imprecise and only works in specific configurations.

Well, it's sort of like this.  Kinect can control (controller free) core games about as well as the PSEye can do fullbody tracking.
