I've tried the Level/Class 0 driver trick with no luck...

You have to set all cars Brake Balance to 1F 1R.

With the default Brake Balance, every A.I Bob will brake at the every tiny correction, while at 1F 1R or 0F 0R, they'll only brake only when necessary.

I won NASCAR daytona race on the Extreme events at the first try thanks to that (and a pretty darn good custom setup).

I really want to retire my Bob & co to teach them a lesson next time lol.

I was having lots of trouble with B-Spec at the start, up until my B-Spec driver hit class level 15.

Currently, he's sitting at level 21, almost level 22, and he can drive any car perfectly and smoothly. 

The hardest race I've had with him, so far, was the NASCAR race on Grand Valley Speedway. I had to babysit him almost all the race, or else he would burn the tyres by the end of lap 3 due to massive oversteer on almost every corner.
