Blue ray adoption vs dvd adoption is a huge difference. The real DVD was highly adopted was because of vhs sucked, DVD had ALOT more features to it, you could jump/skip to anything you wanted, smaller etc. Blue ray only looks, possibly contains more features, and sounds better. To alot of people that could be something important, but to a majority of people it wont.

We all see how many people love youtube, and thats VHS quality. Not everyone has to have HD like gamers.

My point is that yes BR will take over, but it wont be like DVD and its sells will be dipped into by Downloadable content
