i think you misunderstood me. i personally dont care about whether it's right or wrong. but the 'big corps' care about their money. so if downloads become the "main media", so will drm. that's why i think it's a bad idea, drm just basically means you can't 'own' what you actually download.
take warhawk for example.
if you purchase the download version, the only time you can use it is if you sign into your own profile on your ps3, and if you decide to sign into another persons ps3 with your profile and download it onto their ps3, you can only use it 24 hours after it was used on another ps3 using your profile only. the disc version lets you use it wherever, whenever. its basically saying "you paid for it, but we wont let you share it".
