man, sucks, i have no idea what it could be, my xbox had the RROD but it dodnt sound like this, however a year later, right when Assassins creed 2 came out, my xbox wouldn't read it nor any newer games, it would only read the older games, weird huh? took it to Multives gaming to get it fixed, they told me my laser needed "calibrating" it costed me $40 but worked fine afterwards.
