It's hard to understand Sony sometimes .. most of the times actually

I'm not sure they fully know what they're doing , it's more like they act randomly

Did GT5 get a multimillion dollar marketing campaign ? *that started after the release* , and keep in mind that Infamous is a "second party" title.

Anyways, this game is so promising  and looks awesome already , hoping for a multi-player mode, I need to get some real people electrified XD

inFAMOUS is Sony's IP making it a first party franchise. Also, GT5 had quite a few ads air after release (which probably had to be pushed back given the last minute delay).

True , but still they have many first party titles coming from first party studios that won't be teated anything like this , and if I remember correctly Infamous sold the less of all their titles .. Not as good as LPB , Killzone , Uncharted , GoW

Their point is that making all titles selling at 3-5 million range is better than one title selling more than 10 M, what I don't understand why not pushing them all to 10 M range , I mean they already proven successful .

The Last Guardian better get a campaign like this or I swear I will bring Sony down to the ground .

Yeah but GT is a franchise since the PS1 days, marketing dosent determine it sales because its already a lot bigger than a lot of Sony's franchises. those franchises like inFamous dont have the same pull as something like GT, so they need marketing a lot more. and inFamous is relatively very new, so to make this IP as successful as something like Uncharted it will need marketing. GOW, LBP, Uncharted all needed marketing a lot more than GT, and so does inFamous imho.

i would like to see the TLG get a good standard of marketing because its relatively unknown compared to GT5. but i'm not holding my breath! i'm supprised we're even getting a localised EU release this year tbh!
