To me Move is to Wiimote what Blu-Ray is to DVD.
Let me explain, up to this day I refuse to pay more for Blu-Ray movies because they're just DVDs with a better picture quality that I barely notice. This is the same with the PS Move, it's just a more precise Wiimote nothing to get too excited about. I'm guessing that this is pretty much how the general public views Move, an upgrade from Wii remote but not a big new thing.
Kinect is a different story because it tracks your whole body and there's no controller. There's a bigger wow factor when people see it in action, it impresses more easily.
