So... any suggestions on what I can do to either improve my mood regarding cardio workouts or are there any alternate ways to lose weight besides cardio workouts? I've heard, dozens and dozens of times, that cardio is crucial but I just can't stand cardio workouts.

I hate running (it's sad cause I got a bunch of medals from the years I was forced to do it at school). What you might love however if you're like me is competitive sports. Try basketball, soccer, or even easier to do, squash or tennis.... Oh and you have to move on the field not just stand there.

Also a running buddy might help.... doesn't for me but hey ^^

 

Also since you mention snow... put on a big pair of boots and just jog in the snow, it'll be a big workout :p (or if you have friends, go play rugby or football in knee deep snow, it's fun and a big workout.

 

I'm not saying I lose weight this way.... but I eat like 4 (litterally) and I don't gain weight, so it must work somehow.
