I sense PSP go sales skyrocketing soon :)

That is the one of the positives of hacking, it helps boost HW sales.  Now, if only some hackers would stick to homebrew apps and emulators, instead of pirating new games.  Though, I guess running roms on an emulator is technically piracy.  But, I really don't think it's that bad considering it's for games and systems that have long stopped being supported, so no money loss there.

Yeah, I know. Pirating SNES games is fine, just not PSP games. Nintento can't re-release those old games on WiiWare then, since nobody'd buy.

People would still buy them.  Not everyone is into emulation on various platforms not designed to play them natively, or even tech savvy enough to even get them running.  Really, I think laws should be changed to allow roms of games that are over a certain age.  Like say, 10 years.  Then again, it's not like the gov't or companies are too worried about  current laws being enforced for a game more than a decade old.  This is evidenced by the dozens of sites that have roms available that are shut down or prosecuted.
