I use homebrew/hacks on every system i have the chance, on the PSP my main use is to dump my UMDs into the memory stick to play with less noise, more battery and faster loading times, on my PS1 and PS2 it was to play foreign games that never got here (a chinese friend brought those) and use backups to do less damaging on my CDs/DVDs, on my Wii to play DVDs, fan stuff, launch apps via TCP, etc., and now on my PS3 i'm looking forward for my removed Linux support, a better video player, fan stuff, use backups (like i did with PS1, PS2 and PSP), etc.
