Black Ops(360) to hit 10M in just 8 Weeks.

Can someone tell me if it's the fastest selling game to achieve this milestone or not?Too lazy to search into data.

I'm sure New Super Mario Bros. Wii already claimed the title.

It claimed it in 8 weeks with 10,2 million sales. To top that, COD 360 will have to sell about 420K. I found this unlikely, as last year, week ending December 26th had COD MW2 selling 680K (almost the same as this week), then in the following week it dropped to 300K. It will achieve 10 millions in 8 weeks however, turning to be the second fastest game to reach 10 millions in a single platform.

There's a second possible goal quite prestigious for it, anyway: will it be the first to sell 10 million each on two home console platforms? (if we include portables, it would be Mario Kart, if we consider Wii and DS versions different ports and not different games, reaching also the stellar record of >20 million sales on two platforms) Will it be also the first PS3 10 million seller? Or will CoD:MW2 legs last long and strong enough to beat it to these goals? Or will both slow enough to be beaten by GT5 on this 3rd goal, if it will reach 10M too? Whatever happens, it looks like it will become the strongest 3rd party multiplat ever. But should we consider this the proof that Kotick's douche attitude towards devs and gamers is the right one? I don't think so, at least on the devs side Activision showed to be biased in favour of Treyarch, compared to IW, even before the West and Zampella affair, when it let Treyarch PR people talk shit about MW2 without stopping and punishing them, so it looks like being treated better helped them to earn the opportunity to surpass a team that once was considered better.
