I have only used two consoles and they are:
Xbox 360 (2007 - 2007) : Worked fine for 2 hours. Had a problem with the DVD reader.
Xbox 360 (2007 - 2008) : Worked fine for 1 1/2 years. Died due to RROD while I was playing one of the sleeper game of the generation The Darkness :( I still had the warranty though.
Xbox 360 (2008 - 2010) : This one worked the best of the three. However it failed as well due to DVD error again. Since I had no warranty left, I couldn't send it in. So, I can only play games if I am lucky enough for the system to recognise the disc.
PS3 (2008 - Present) : Works like a charm. The only complaint is that the surface gets a little bit of scratches.
