I know you say "since sega saturn, and ignore xbox rrod," but since only a few replies have been posted so far I figured I'd just roll through my personal buying/owning experiences for the hell of it. Hope you do not mind!

PSx/One: rolled through at least 5 of these due to a combination of the consoles sitting on the floor swimming in dirt and pet dander (severe nastiness... like, you could not tell what color the carpet was). My only excuse was that I was very young at the time :)

Sega Saturn: broke one 3 days after purchasing it; Virtua Figher pissed me off. Toys r Us gave me an exchange, sold the console shortly after beating Panzer Dragoon.

N64: None, still have it.

NES: None, still have it (despite being hit entirely too many times out of anger).

Snes: None, still have it.

Sega Master System: None, still have it.

Sega Genesis/CD: None, still have it.

Turbo Grafix 16: None, still have it.

Dreamcast: Bought it just before Xbox came out. My only problem was the inability to find enough good games in stores and the fact that I bought an Xbox on launch. Still have it.

Xbox: Broke the first one after roughly 4000 hours of gaming/dvd watching. Still have the 2nd.

Xbox 360: On console #4. 1 RRoD, 1 E74, 1 upgrade for HDMI port, 1 upgrade to S model. The RRoD console happened 3 hrs after purchase, so replacement was free. E74 happened to that replacement roughly 6 months later, replacement was free. Sold that console when I upgraded to one with an HDMI port; same with when I upgraded to S model.
