Mass Effect is such a mess of game, that it's not even worth dragging myself through all it's technical issues and poor designs just so I can 'truly' understand it's story. I've got it on my 360 and the game just drags, not because the world and plot isn't interesting, but because the game semi freezes just when I'm turning around and the gameplay is just so wonky.
I might buy Mass Effect 2 on the PS3, only because I'd rather play the critically acclaimed sequel, without going through the broken original, while also getting the chance to understand the plot and make the choices from the first game.
It's hard to pass up such a highly praised game and I'm willing to put my money down if it means that I won't have to go through Mass Effect 1.
Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.
