Your decisions from ME1 carry over to ME2. Part of the fun of ME2 is seeing those differences reflected in your quest. ME2 can be enjoyed without playing ME1 but players of ME1 get a lot more out of ME2.

That's a good feature but what I want to know is the ME2 was a complete game or a story related with ME1. For what I see until now ME2 was a single game to be enjoyed even without played ME1 because there are no story relation between them.

The ME story is one story broken into three parts...

In any event I dont see how reading a comic compares to playing a game.

Would reading a comic rendition of MGS3 before playing MGS4 be as good as playing MGS3....? of course not.

the downloadable MGS database helped a lot of folks i suppose
although it wasn't a comic, and it wasn't interactive like the ME:2 one's supposed to be

and was it as good as playing the previous games for yourself?  no...

so whilst it is a welcome aid it simply cannot replace the actual gaming experience.

sorry i ninja edited my earlier post with pretty much what you're saying here
