OK now I know this is kinda off topic, but PSN does advertise their indie games through PS blogs where the developers themselves come and talk about it. Of course, not many people read it but PS blog does a great job of talking about their games. And they do this for all indie games, not just exclusive one's.
On topic: Don't really care. Valve is a publisher/developer themselves so they would know how to treat indie developers better, I guess.
