I mean, I appreciate that you're rebuffing every logical argument with smilies and coy jokes instead of being rude and outspoken about it, but the fact is you're wrong. Alcoholism isn't based on an individual's opinion--it's a disease, and to not treat it as such is to do a massive disservice to all the people who legitimately have a problem.

You're doing the equivalent of calling a pimple skin cancer, justifying it by saying that's just because you "have different standards for cancer", and then making jokes when we attempt to explain things sensibly. 

I honestly do not understand how you can be so resolutely judgmental when you seem almost entirely uninformed on the subject of alcohol--let alone having actually experienced drinking.
