No he can't, it's his job to write that shit, you and I, we keep that shit to ourselves because we don't need to do that to make money.

If he's required to give his personal opinion on a personal purchase, then IGN's Editor in Chief needs to be let go. He could've posted in the IGN forums or started his own blog for this.
