I don't trust raids. I have my data mirrored on my pc, my laptop, and an external 1tb usb hdd. I also keep the original files of the home videos (of our baby) I shoot on 16gb ssd cards. The processed videos are also on my ps3 and on youtube. Lot of our pictures are also on facebook, printed out and shared with friends and family.
Beat that stupid hdds. Lost 2 hdds this year, but no data :)
