Are you sure guns aren't drugs? How have you come to this crazy conclusion? |
As I've said, my problem isn't with guns, it's with people that abuse guns.
My problem isn't with drugs, it's with people that abuse drugs.
And that brings up the question of direction: Do we ban guns/drugs, control guns/drugs, monitor guns/drugs, allow guns/drugs?
I lean towards the latter two...people should have their freedom but be willing to suffer the consequences of hurting others.
I see too many damn Americans that don't want to accept responsibility for their own actions. They'd rather point a finger and say, my daddy beat me or my mommy left me, etc. We each make our own decisions and laws to a degree, but we must be prepared to suffer the consequences of our actions if they tread on somebody else. We reap what we sow.
Lol, I suppose a gun could be a drug to some, but not to me. I don't sniff it, snort it, drink it, inject it, smoke it,,,,I'm not addicted to it, I don't harm my body with it, I don't hurt those around me with it, it's not illegal for me to have it...it actually only comes out a few times a year.
But I can see your point that a gun could be like a "drug" to others.
Lol, damn, I feel like I'm taking Philosophy in college again!
Well, I now only have access to a PS3 & 360...Plan on buying a wii soon (lol, if I can ever find one available!) but will probably wait until some of the major RPG's come out like Dragon Quest & Tales, etc.
Anyhow, I'm so far behind in games to play that I'm not in a huge hurry (lol, haven't even gotten a chance to finish God of War II yet!)
