I believe Microsoft Kinect will have motion controls in the near future.

Gears 3 wont have Kinect support, Cliff Blezinski already said so. "hardcore" games are still possible, just shooters I dont think will be as easy as resident evil type of game, or dancing or sports for example. Will take some thinking I reckon

I know but that was before the huge delay announced till next fall.  I just have a feeling MS came to them and asked them to put something together to promote kinect to the hardcore gamers.  A gun made to work with gears would be a huge hit if it worked well.  Hardcore gamers would flock to kinect to virtually chainsaw their opponent atleast I would.  Will have to wait and see.
