Kinect's core demographic is designed for casual gamers and just like the Wii, it has hit the sweet spot of sales and timing and will continue to be a huge success this coming up year. I believe Hardcore gamers will have the option to pick up a new gun peripheral made jointly with MS and the maker of the game, for example, I expect a gears of war gun to be released with Gears of war 3. |
Gears 3 wont have Kinect support, Cliff Blezinski already said so. "hardcore" games are still possible, just shooters I dont think will be as easy as resident evil type of game, or dancing or sports for example. Will take some thinking I reckon
