Unfortunatly, drinking alcoholic drinks have become a norm in todays society.

It has become the norm? It's been the norm for all of human history. The Greeks and Romans created Western culture whilst getting rat-arsed, Mediaeval Northern Europeans got 25% of their daily calories from beer and the British started the industrial revolution and created an empire on which the sun never set whilst drowning themselves in rum and gin.

To me it's the worst thing someone can do after murder and drugs.

So drinking and taking drugs are worse than robbery, assault, mutilation and rape? It sounds like *you're* high on something.

What's the point of drinking something that taste like **** or at least that's how the smell potrays it to be.

Clearly showing you have never drunk alcohol, in which case you can't understand what's enjoyable about it.

So why do you or why do you think people drink? What's your story? (rolls eyes)

So, you rant about how drinkers are stupid, then ask us to tell you why we drink and only give us poll options that make us sound like arseholes. That's very mature.

Thanks for the guffaw. There is no way you could possibly beat me in typing and grammer

He might be able to beat you at spelling.

And in answer to your question, I get drunk because it feels good. I enjoy it. Why don't you do what you enjoy instead of bitching about the choices everyone else makes? And why don't you move to a country like Saudi Arabia? You'd like it there. People who aren't members of the royal family are forced by law to be teetotallers; they can't choose to drink. You'll be able to see the wondrous civilisation that teetotalling creates.

EDIT: is there a "delete post" function on these forums? I couldn't find one. In fact, the posting system is generally hard to use when one is used to the markup system that is standard on the intertubes. Replying to specific parts of a post and replying to more than one post at the same time can be quite inconvenient, as is not being able to use a browser's spellchecker.
