I am 28 and never liked the N64 except for Golden Eye and Perfect Dark, Zelda and FZero that I played with my N64 owning friends.    

Yeah, I was going to ask for a definition of old myself. I'm closing in on the dreaded 30, and while I did enjoy the N64, I found the PS1 to be the far superior system when looking back.
